Why does VR constantly nag us?

What really makes this game sort-of suck is the nag-ware approach. If I don't purchase fullpackage at the beginning I'm not going to be berated into doing it every time I make a maneuver later. What gives?

There is another option for e-sailing out there and it's more competitive.
